After the success of our very first 'Care to Education Information Evening', we are pleased to announce our plans to hold our second event but this time we are holding it during the Easter holidays, during the day!
The open day gives you the opportunity to confidentially discuss your career options, meet like-minded people and potentially make the first steps towards a new career within education! All delivered by our specialist SEND Team, who have both worked in Care themselves!
Need a guaranteed income? That's fine we do offer permanent roles too! AND there's no obligation to 'sign up'
Still not convinced? When we asked Liam (SEND Consultant) why he felt you should attend, this is what he had to say….
‘Through my hands on experience as a Support Worker for 2 years, Health and Social Care Consultant, and now SEND Consultant for Academic Appointments, the concept of “Care to Education” was originally sparked by noticing the similarities and transferable skills that someone from a Health and Social Care background could offer to Special Educational schools and Alternative provisions.
Qualities like being able to interact and engage with people living with Learning Disabilities are among the most sought after qualities within the Special Educational provisions. I couldn’t help but do something for the people that currently work in care, who want their work life balance back, but at the same time still enjoy working with vulnerable people to make a difference to their lives.
I believe that with this training, and with our continued support to place you within schools, you can you get your work life balance back too!’
