It’s with mixed feelings that after 13 years I’m leaving my beloved Academic Appointments.
Whilst tremendously excited for spending more time with my family and husband, Phil, (though not really sure he’s as excited as me) I’m also having withdrawal pangs at the same time!
It’s been a dream job working with such warm-hearted, kind and lovely colleagues and clients – I’ve made good friends for life with the team here and also with my lovely contacts in the schools that I’ve worked with over these many years – it’s all so much more than I ever expected.
In my last blog 3 years ago, I said I wondered where our next office would open…..well, since then with Leeds and Doncaster, we now have our 2 additional bases in Bradford and Harrogate. I think we can safely say we pretty much help to staff any Yorkshire School now and it’s very exciting that we’re going from strength to strength and growing year on year.
This is most definitely testament to the dedication, hard work and genuine desire of all my colleagues to do a good job and on the drive home, to feel proud of what they’ve done in their working day.
It’s been an honour and a privilege to have been part of the Academic Appointments family. I’d say I’ll keep in touch but I might be a bit too busy holidaying and drinking those Vodka & Tonics!
Wishing everyone the best of luck and lots of happiness in the future, whatever your connection to Academic Appointments ????
