West Yorkshire Candidate of The Term Winner Announced!

Every term Academic Appointments invite our schools to vote for their ‘Candidate of the Term’. This can be any member of our agency staff who have provided supply in their school, long or short term. They could be a regular on supply or a full-time member of staff, either way, we believe they deserve an opportunity to be rewarded for their hard work.

Thank you to all those who took part, and congratulations to all the candidates who were nominated!

This term, due to the volume of nominations we received we decided to award a West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Winner! This is due to the number of high quality candidates we have working for Academic Appointments, ensuring that we match the right candidate to the right school.

Yesterday Julia, our Quality Manager awarded our West Yorkshire winner at The Southfield Grange Trust in Bradford. The winner wishes to remain anonymous, however, she was nominated for the following reason;

I would like to nominate X for the following reasons…

  • Attending after school meetings and getting involved in joint planning meetings
  • Offering to mark exam papers for classes that she doesn’t teach
  • Getting in early every morning and staying late every night to support her colleagues within the department

You would not have any idea that she is a member of supply staff at all, she has fully embraced being a fully-fledged member of our Department’

Well done to our West Yorkshire Winner, a true ambassador of Academic Appointments.
