Academic Appointments are currently working with a Primary school in Leeds to recruit for a Behaviour Support Worker to work with a pupil who has challenging behaviour and special education needs. The appointed applicant may be required to work with different students within the same class and occasionally across different year groups. The needs of the children may vary, so they require an individual who is adaptable and strong with behaviour management.
This will be a temporary, on going position, to meet the interim needs of the school.
- Previous experience in a similar role in school is preferable
- Care background would be an advantage
- 2x references from educational establishments
- A valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Team Teach desirable but not essential
