Academic Appointments are currently recruiting for HLTA’s to work in primary schools across Leeds from September.
As a temporary HLTA, you will be expected to be confident teaching across the key stages and following planning left by class teachers. In addition, behaviour management must be strong and you must be adaptable to different behaviour policies for schools. There may be some planning responsibility depending on the assignment, therefore a good understand of the National Curriculum is required.
These roles vary from day to day to long term positions.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Evidence of an exemplary track record
- A passion for success and quality teaching

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
