Academic Appointments are currently working in partnership with a specialist school in Leeds to appoint a committed and excellent Inclusion Support Worker to support their schools and staff.
We are looking for an individual that has previous experience of working with challenging behaviour and SEMH. We are also interested in hearing from those who have a strong care and sports background and are seeking to transition their skills into an educational setting. Graduates are also encouraged and welcome to apply, as supply is a great way to build up your experience and a way to secure a permanent contract.
As a inclusion Support Worker, you will be required to work with individual pupils, groups of children and the whole class. You will be required to support pupils with a range of abilities and support the Class Teacher.
Our school is looking for someone who is looking for full-time long term, this will be to start when school is back fully operational after COVID19 Requirements
- Ability to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Strong behaviour management skills
- 2x references
- A valid DBS or willing to obtain
- Team teach is also desireable
