Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Special Needs School in Leeds, ranging from Primary to Secondary age pupils and the role is to work with a range of needs, from mild to moderate Autism, to those with complex, communication needs.
You will be required to have worked in an SEN setting before and be familiar working with a variety of Special needs.
This is a full-time position and is expected to be on going with a September start. Requirements
- Experience of working with Special needs pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small classroom settings
- Strong behaviour management skills
- 2x references
- A valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Team Teach certification is desirable but not essential

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
