Academic Appointments are currently working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in Wakefield to appoint a Maths Teacher.
The provision caters for schools and academies across West Yorkshire.
Their vision is to provide a high quality, effective and inclusive learning environment for challenging and vulnerable young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.
Applicants must have experience of working with social, emotional and mental health and pupils with challenging behaviours that have been permanently excluded from mainstream school.
Senior leaders have created a school which completely focuses on achieving the best outcomes for its pupils, this has led to pupils achieving well and progressing.
The role is to commence on the 30th of April for at least 6 weeks on a full-time basis. Requirements
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in the relevant subject
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Passionate about teaching SEMH students
- Evidence of an exemplary track record
- A passion for success and quality teaching
