Academic Appointments are currently working alongside a Special School in located Wakefield to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker to start when school is back fully functional after Covid19 in September.

They are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker who ideally has previous SEMH experience or holds a background in Youth Work.
The school caters for pupils aged between 11 to 16 with an Education, Health and Care Plan for Severe Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
Their aim is to prepare every pupil for a positive future, developing pupil’s academic, social and emotional skills. Staff work closely together as a team and support pupils to achieve as much as possible from a wide range of starting points, ensuring that all pupils make good progress.
The successful candidate will be join an inspirational and successful team who all work together and support pupils to achieve as much as possible from a wide range of starting points, ensuring that all pupils make good progress. You will be well supported by a strong leadership team who have a clear vision for the future of the school. Requirements
- Previous experience with SEMH is ideal
- 2x references
- An enhanced valid DBS

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
