General Cover Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools – Leeds

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for flexible teaching work in Leeds? We are currently recruiting General Cover Supply Teachers to work in partnership with Secondary Schools across Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire area.

We have a range of Full Time and Part Time Supply Teacher jobs available, offering flexibility, variety and opportunities to gain experience across different school settings.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers, ECTs, and education professionals seeking day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or long-term teaching roles.

The Role As a General Cover Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of secondary subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support pupils’ learning and engagement
• Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment
• Adapt confidently to different school settings
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

All lesson planning and preparation will be provided by the permanent teaching staff or department.
Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification
• A relevant honours degree
• Recent experience teaching in UK Secondary Schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Two professional references from educational settings
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
